Though the syllabus of the Ancient and Medieval History consists more of factual things, with proper planning one can easily score in the Prelims examination.

General Tips for Ancient & Medieval History:

  •  Allocate 15- 20 days only for studying. Considering the Weightage of these two in the past years, it is sufficient that one can learn the basics well in the allocated time.
  •  Limit the resources.
  •  It’s all about facts. Master it by revising as much as possible periodically.
  • Don’t try to cram it. Proper planning will yield easy scores in this part.
  • Make your notes correlating all the topics.
  • Learn well about the terminologies, names of ancient & medieval officers, books, authors, customs in the time, etc.
  • Finally, have a look at the previous year’s questions once you complete every topic and proceed.
