Admission Procedure

Please be informed that admissions starting July 1, 2017 will have the new tax rate (GST) applicable. For any admissions done till 30th June, 2017, existing tax rates will be applicable.

Option 1 – Fill application online and pay fees online (Debit card / Credit card / Net Banking / Cash card / Mobile Payment / Wallet / UPI)

  • Fill all the compulsory fields in the application form (marked by *)
  • Upload latest photo (soft copy) [Photo dimension should be 400 * 500 pixels and image should be less than 1 MB]
  • Submit the application form
  • Choose payment method and make payment
  • Payments receipts (class and book materials) will be generated and mailed to the registered mail address
  • Candidate will receive a call from us once the application is submitted and payment made
  • Admission will be provisional till the payment (online payment) is confirmed by our bank. Batch and seat will be confirmed once the payment is received by us.

Option 2 – Fill application online and pay fees through DD

  • Make a DD in favour of ‘SHANKAR IAS ACADEMYpayable at Chennai for the appropriate amount for the course you choose. You can make multiple DD’s totaling to the amount mentioned for the course. The DD numbers can be entered in the columns separated by comma (for eg 1111, 1234, 3333)
  • Fill all the compulsory fields in the application form (marked by *)
  • Upload latest photo (soft copy) [Photo dimension should be 400 * 500 pixels and image should be less than 1 MB]
  • Submit the application form
  • Choose payment method and enter the DD details
  • Take a printout of the application and send it to us along with the DD only through Speed Post.
  • The form and DD should reach us within 7 days of submitting the application online; failing which the seat reserved for the candidate will be withdrawn. Address : Door No 18, Old Plot No 109,

  • Candidate will receive a call from us once the application and the DD is received by us

Rules and regulations

Batch shift

  1. Batch shift will be permitted only under exceptional and relevant circumstances among the available batches
  2. One time charge of Rs 1,000 will be levied for batch shifting
  3. Batch shifting will be at the sole discretion of the institute
  4. Institute will not be responsible for loss of any classes due to batch shift

Walk in

  • Candidate to fill up the application form and attach 2 passport photos
  • Attend counselling on the courses offered
  • Pay fees (DD / Cash / Card)
  • Get the receipts (class and book materials) along with the ID card
